However, the typical conventions of pop music videos are for example, there are many rapids cuts involved as this creates more of a fast beat and creates energy and excitement for the audience so they enjoy it more. Another convention of pop music videos is that the colours and outifts used are always very bright and colourful as this stands out for the audience as it is quite lively and this fits the beat and appeals more to the audience as they are generally quite young and fashionable. A lot of pop artists are young and nearly always the main person in their music videos, they also, most of the time, create a fake image as if they are 'perfect' to appeal to their young audience. Typical pop songs mostly include lyrics about love or passed relationships of the artist as this gives them something to sing about and it targets their young audience - the music video also has some sort of narrative about love as their young audience can relate to it.
